Shiny, shiny blood

akashasheiressWent to get my blood drawn this morning. Fasting. After too little sleep. And already being anæmic, of course.
The clinician (or whatever you call them) seemed to have trouble actually getting any blood out of me and I thought to myself ''Shit, is it that bad?'' But it turned out to have something to do with the vial.
I actually find having my blood drawn kind of fascinating. The colour's really pretty.* But this was one of those slightly botched ones that hurt.
So hopefully I'll be starting some kind of treatment soon and won't be looking like an animated corpse anymore.**
* She said, in her best Drusilla- voice.
** Now, there's a career path to consider.
ETA: On an unrelated note, I think this means it's time to rewatch this:
