Shipping the Doctor

A meme-y thing stolen from
calapine
Mutual shipping:
1. Cameca - He clearly had a crush on her and she was in love with him.
2. Jamie - I don't care much if it's a sexual or platonic romance, but I lean more towards platonic these days, as I am wont to do in my few Doctor/human ships. I only ship him with Two.
3. The Master - Pretty much all Doctors/Masters except for Four. Four didn't like him much and when he they met again he was too sad about Romana to be very interested.
4. Romana - All incarnations. They never stop being in love, even when they're in love with other people. She's the closest thing he has to a ''life partner''. They will be together at the very end and she will inherit the TARDIS, along with Jenny.
5. Susan's gran - This one is fun to play around with. It could be a love match, an arranged marriage, where they grew to love each other, or something in between. In my fanon she died fairly young, before he left with Susan.
One-sided:
1. Barbara - Intellectual crush. He wanted her brains.
There are probably others here that I can't think of right now.
I admit that it's there, but I don't care for it:
1. Rose.
2. Reinette - I might like it if the Moffatian version of her had been anything like the actual Madame. The whole thing was fairly dull to me.
3. River - I don't understand why Moffat made her into a love interest when she would have been perfectly all right without being so. I sincerely hope he doesn't actually make her his wife, but I wouldn't be all that surprised.
I realise I'm probably as close to monoshipping as you can get in this fandom.;)
